The Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau, also known as Visit French Lick West Baden, values its Tourism Grants as a crucial component of its mission and vision. Supporting events that attract visitors, engage locals, promote community pride, and highlight cultural heritage boosts tourism spending in the region. This effort benefits the local economy and enhances the tourism industry in Orange County.
This year we are proud to say that we’ve contributed over $218,000 to 20 organizations within Orange County.

2024 Tourism Grant Recipients

Tourism Grants 2024 – Deadline – 2/28/24

Tourism Grants 2024: Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau (dba Visit French Lick West Baden) considers our Tourism Grants as an important aspect of our mission and purpose.  We believe by adding events and projects that attract overnight visitors, increase local engagement, exhibit community pride and highlight our cultural histories, we continually further the marketing of our area thus increasing our tourism dollars spent in Orange County. 

Two categories are offered.  Community Event Sponsorship which offers up to $15,000 for up to 5 events. Tourism Impact Catalyst offers a larger sum to one-time events.  

Marketing Match

Marketing Match:  This program is open to any tourism related business or event that advertises outside the county and meets the established program filter tests. This program is offered to retail/shopping, attractions, restaurants, lodging and Chamber of Commerce.  Designed for advertising outside of Orange County, Indiana.

This effort will leverage the Visit French Lick West Baden marketing funds while assisting businesses and events in individual marketing efforts. The source of funding for this program is the county Innkeepers tax.

Cooperative Marketing Match requests are evaluated by the VFLWB Management staff and possibly the Board of Directors prior to disbursement.
